A dental implant is a solution for replacing a missing tooth or one that must be removed. It is a sterile medical device that provides a solid and stable anchor on which a crown (prosthetic tooth) or a fixed or removable appliance can be supported. Once the indication has been established, Dr Marin Pomperski performs a preliminary radiographic assessment consisting of a 2D radiograph as well as a 3D scan (CBCT) of the bone volumes. The procedure is always carried out at the practice, in a dedicated surgical room, under sterile conditions and local anaesthesia. Holding a University Diploma in Implantology, Dr Marin Pomperski is experienced in working with various implant systems (Straumann, Zimmer, Nobel, GC, etc.) and will always ensure the use of the safest and most appropriate biomaterials. As an implant is only a means of replacing one or more teeth, it is fitted with a bespoke prosthetic component. All of our prosthetic work is produced in France by renowned artisan Master Dental Technicians.

Bone Grafts

GREFFES OSSEUSES - dr marin pomperski -chirurgien dentisteBone grafts make it possible to compensate for a loss of bone volume in the mouth. Following a traumatic extraction, gradual resorption of the bone structure, or an unfavourable anatomy, a bone graft may be necessary to restore harmonious volumes. Dr Marin Pomperski performs a preliminary radiographic assessment consisting of a 2D radiograph as well as a 3D scan (CBCT) of the bone volumes.

The procedure is always carried out at the practice, in a dedicated surgical room, under sterile conditions and local anaesthesia. Today, several biomaterials are available that enable patients to regenerate bone effectively

Gum Grafts

Gum grafts are used to compensate for insufficient gum tissue, whether in quantity or quality. The causes are varied (traumatic brushing, chronic inflammation, iatrogenic prosthesis, etc.) and sometimes anatomical (frenulum insertion, dental malposition, thin gum and bone), and may lead to severe sensitivity and/or significant aesthetic concerns. In many cases, it is possible either to compensate for gum loss or to slow its progression.

Dr Marin Pomperski establishes a diagnosis using a thorough aetiological assessment and preliminary radiographic analysis. The procedure is always performed at the practice, in a dedicated surgical room, under sterile conditions and local anaesthesia. Several biomaterials are now available to regenerate gum tissue, though autografting remains the preferred technique.

Dr Marin Pomperski will always select the most appropriate technique. In some situations, referral to a periodontist may be essential. In such cases, Dr Pomperski works in close collaboration with distinguished practitioners who practise periodontics exclusively.

Peri-implantitis Treatment

Peri-implantitis is caused by the persistence of bacteria in the space between the gum and the implant crown. These bacteria trigger inflammation, which in turn induces bone loss around the implant. Treatment of this condition is adapted according to the extent of peri-implant destruction and must ensure proper hygiene around the implant.

Oral hygiene is therefore a crucial factor in maintaining dental implants, as it helps limit the accumulation of bacterial plaque.

The gingival environment around the implant must be sufficient to allow effective cleaning. If the gum tissue is deficient in quality or quantity, it cannot properly attach to the implant. For this reason, additional gum grafting may sometimes be required. The prosthesis (crown or bridge) connected to the implant can make cleaning around the gum difficult, and may even create a site for bacterial plaque retention. In such cases, it may be necessary to remove, modify, or even replace the prosthetic element supported by the implant.

With a University Diploma in Implantology, Dr Marin Pomperski is experienced in working with various implant systems (Straumann, Zimmer, Nobel, GC, etc.) and will always select the safest and most suitable biomaterials. The prosthetic component is custom-made: all our prosthetic work is produced in France by renowned artisan Master Dental Technicians.

Implant crowns are bespoke restorations fabricated in a dental laboratory to replace a missing tooth. They are either screwed directly onto the implant or cemented onto an abutment previously fixed to the implant.

These custom-made restorations must be adapted both to the implant system onto which they are fitted and to the surrounding environment (gum tissue and adjacent teeth). Various materials may be used, but since the implant platform is most often titanium, the base of the implant crown is usually also made of titanium, while the visible portion is entirely ceramic.

With a University Diploma in Implantology, Dr Marin Pomperski is experienced in working with different implant systems (Straumann, Zimmer, Nobel, GC, etc.) and always ensures the selection of the safest and most appropriate biomaterials. The expertise of the master ceramists with whom we collaborate guarantees aesthetic and long-lasting results. All our work is produced in France by renowned artisan Master Dental Technicians.

Comprehensive care

Whatever the concern that brings you to our practice, you will receive comprehensive care for your oral health. All of our treatments include a preventive component, with tailored advice to support good oral hygiene.

Each patient undergoes a complete examination of the mucosa, teeth, and gums to ensure they receive the most appropriate guidance and recommendations for maintaining long-term health. A chronological treatment plan is then designed and presented, with the patient actively involved in their own care.

Many conditions may originate in the teeth or have oral consequences. When necessary, Dr Marin Pomperski works closely with specialists including orthodontists, physicians, ENT specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, and others.
